EDCI is a Non-Governmental Organization working for the empowerment of the Rural Poor in villages of Nagpur, Navegaonkhari, Kondhali, Chamorshi and Gadchiroli regions of Central India.

As a partner in development, EDCI has responded to Health, Education, Water, Women & Child Development, Ecological and Environmental issues. Various programmes addressing these issues are initiated by EDCI.

EDCI also fulfills it's commitment to Rural Development through a series of Sustainable Programmes in Agricultural Development, Self Employment and Micro Credit.

These initiatives by EDCI have resulted in a qualitative improvement in the lives of the people it is involved with.


EDCI was awarded with MEU International Award as India's most Outstanding voluntary Organization for the work carried out by it in the rural area fostering human resources and building their communities.
